Are there any third party-financial instruments that pays the seller once goods are shiped?

I'm buying products from the UK, first time transaction; Are there any financial instruments ran or controlled by a third party (like a bank or someone independent from the buyer or seller ) that liberates, deposits, or pays the seller once shipment confirmation of goods is made?
