How adding ethanol can increase octane value in gasoline ?
Ethanols are alcohol with two carbon units while gasoline is propane another compound with 5 carbon units. what advantage does it has adding a decent amount of octane - a compound with 8 carbon units? and actually how adding ethanol increases octane level in gasoline?
