Could the dolphins be contenders in 2008 if.........?

Absolutely not. Nothing can enable them to bounce back in 2008. They are playing in a division with the Patriots who, last I checked, don't show any signs of losing for the next few years. This means thats Miami would have to win the wild card to make it to the playoffs, where a 10-6 Browns team didn't even make it this year. 10-6 is a fantastic record . . . and to NOT make the playoffs? No chance, Miami. A few changes won't do anything. Miami needs a full makeover, starting with a younger defense. Parcells will surely rebuild this team to be contenders someday, but definitely not in '08.
