Does getting something free/ I mean absolutely free/ give you a lazy feeling?

i think that it depends on what i was given. Maybe you own that thing, maybe it has to be yours. Or maybe somebody promised you the thing. But if i was given a thing, without any reason, yeah..i would have a lazy feeling..
