no leave it up to him now I would also leave the im up to him and the emails. Don't let you self be good enough when no one else is around and just in email where no one else knows . If he doesn't think enough of you to talk to you in cl or school as well then don't set your self up for disapointment. That is cruelty he is showing so remember that.
